My first sip of Fruta Vida was on June 2nd of this year. One of the first things I noticed was that the Edema (water retention) in my legs began to go away. This I noticed on the fourth morning after starting on Fruta Vida. I also began to sleep better. In the following days, I was told by a number of people that my skin tone had changed. One of those people was my Doctor.

I am a heart patient. I had 4 way bypass surgery on Feb 25th of 2004. I also have type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, and fibromyalgia.

It can be devastating. It affects you in your youth. It affects your life. It can affect everything. Including relationships with your family, especially if you don't know you have it.

As you get older, your mental concentration weakens, you don't sleep. Anger can become extreme. The depression, anxiety, and panic attacks can become worse. You will become tired, or lose concentration easily within a couple of hours. You have to rest more. The PTSD beats on your self esteem, your confidence, your attitude towards life, your self worth and well being. Every day can become a struggle. You wake up and it is a struggle just to get out of bed. Stress amplifies all the problems with PTSD. In fact, I have been told it takes a person with PTSD 7 times the mental energy to accomplish something than a person who does NOT have PTSD.

Before long, a person can become unemployable because of weak concentration, anger, and becoming tired very quickly. That is only the tip of the iceberg. The VA has helped me to live with it and manage it. I have had to be careful and learn to live with it. That is the solution. Learn to manage the affects of the illness, because there is no cure. Sometimes I could only work a couple of hours, then rest two or three and maybe go back to work. You even begin to wonder, how long can I hold down a job. Paranoia can become absurd.

You should know I am proud I served my country, and would not change it. Many veterans pay a price for many years. And I wouldn't want anyone to think that I wish I hadn't served my country. Just didn't want anybody to think I was complaining about serving.

A few months ago, my friend Keith, who I have known for several years, suggested I start taking Fruta Vida. I wish I had. :) I started taking Fruta Vida a month ago. Within a couple of days I noticed I had more energy. And I was NOT craving sweets or cokes. That surprised me because I love to eat and it had begun to show more and more. :) . I'm really not sure that I can admittedly say Fruta Vida was the cause for the improvement in my hearing, and the improvement in my sinus conditions that has raised havoc with me over the years, or if its been just a freak of nature.

I was reading one of the testimonies about the woman with diabetes and how she hurt her heel and put some Fruta Vida on the wound, and the pain stopped.
